Our Churches
Church life is an important part of the fabric of our lives here in Murphy, North Carolina and Cherokee County. There are over 200 churches that are active in the area. Almost all of every major denomination is represented.
It would be impossible to list every church in Cherokee County; however, here we have listed some of the Churches.
In addition, there are over 50 Baptist Churches that can be reached through Truett Baptist Association at (828) 837-5401 and several smaller independent churches located throughout the rural communities of the county.
